Terms & Conditions – House Bazar

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using House Bazar (the “Platform” or “Service”) you agree to these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users including buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, agents and visitors.

2. Service Description

House Bazar is a property listing and information platform that enables users to post, browse, buy, rent, and promote properties in Pakistan. We provide tools to create listings, contact other users, and purchase optional listing packages.

3. User Responsibilities

Accuracy: Users must provide accurate, complete and lawful information in listings and profiles.
Verification: Users must verify property details, identities, ownership, and any claims before completing any transaction or agreement.
Transactions: The Platform is not a party to transactions between users. All negotiations, payments and agreements happen directly between users and are the sole responsibility of the parties involved.
Safety: Do not share sensitive personal or financial information in public areas. Use secure payment methods when transacting outside the Platform.
Communication: Respect other users. Unwanted harassment, spam, repeated unsolicited messaging, threatening language or misuse of messaging features is prohibited. Repeated abuse may lead to account suspension or removal.
Legal compliance: Users must comply with local laws (including property, tax and rental regulations) in Pakistan when posting or transacting.

4. Listings, Packages & Payments

Listing Types: We offer Free and Paid listing options. Free listings are listed without featured placement or promotional priority. Paid packages (featured listings, highlighted placement, or promotional services) are described on the Packages page.

Payments: Paid packages are purchased via manual payment methods as described on the Packages page (bank transfer, mobile banking, or other available manual methods). Users are responsible for following the package purchase instructions and providing accurate payment details. House Bazar is not responsible for payments made outside the methods specified on the Packages page unless explicitly documented.

Confirmation & Activation: Listings purchased using paid packages will be activated following verification of payment by House Bazar. Activation times and package features are described on the Packages page.

Refunds: Any refund policy is defined on the Packages page. Unless stated on that page, most manual payments are non-refundable once a package has been activated. Contact support at info@housebazar.pk for payment issues.

5. Messaging, Moderation & Privacy

Messaging: House Bazar provides messaging between users for convenience. Users must respect others when messaging — refrain from harassment, excessive messaging, threats, or unlawful requests.

Monitoring & Access: To enforce security and these Terms, House Bazar may access or review messages, conversation logs and content exchanged on the Platform. By using the Platform you consent to such access when required for moderation, fraud prevention, safety, or legal compliance.

Records: We recommend keeping conversations on the Platform to preserve message records, which may help in case of disputes or fraud.

6. Content, Editing & Removal

House Bazar reserves the right to edit, remove, or refuse any listing, content or account at any time for any reason (including suspected policy violations, illegal content, or inaccurate information).
House Bazar may also suspend or terminate accounts for repeated violations, fraudulent activity, or behavior harmful to other users.
We are not required to provide prior notice before removal or suspension but may do so at our discretion.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

No warranty: The Platform and its services are provided “as is” and “as available”. House Bazar does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any listing, user profile, message, photo, or external link on the Platform.

Transactions: House Bazar is not responsible for any losses, damages, fraud, misrepresentation, theft, or other issues arising from user-to-user transactions or interactions. Users assume all risk for any transaction or agreement that occurs after contact through our services.

Technical faults: House Bazar disclaims responsibility for losses caused by outages, delays, data loss, system errors, third-party integrations, or other technical problems beyond our reasonable control.

Maximum liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, House Bazar’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Platform is limited to the amount paid by the claimant to House Bazar in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any). In no case shall House Bazar be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages.

8. Disputes Between Users

House Bazar does not act as an arbiter for disputes between users and does not provide escrow services. We do not handle legal disputes, refunds for offline payments between users, or enforce private contracts. We encourage parties to keep records of their communications and payments and to attempt amicable resolution. For serious disputes or fraud, users should seek legal advice or contact local authorities.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform (text, graphics, logos, icons, code) is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant House Bazar a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify and display such content as needed to provide and promote the Service.

10. Privacy & Data

House Bazar’s Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and share personal data. By using the Platform you consent to the collection and use of data as described in our Privacy Policy. Note: we may access messages and content for safety and moderation as described above.

11. Changes to the Platform & Terms

House Bazar may modify the Platform, its features, and these Terms at any time. We may post updates on the website or notify users by email. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Users should review Terms periodically.

12. Account Suspension & Termination

House Bazar may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, fraudulent behavior, security risks, or inactivity. Upon termination, certain data may be retained for legal or operational purposes. Users may delete or request removal of their listings via the account controls or by contacting support.

13. Support & Contact

For assistance email info@housebazar.pk. We aim to respond within 24 hours, but responses may take longer during busy periods. For payment or listing activation queries, include transaction reference and listing ID where possible to speed up support.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless House Bazar, its officers, employees and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or breach of applicable law.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and House Bazar regarding use of the Platform, superseding any prior agreements.
